Greg Staples
Greg Staples is an English comic book artist known for his contributions to various genres and mediums. After leaving school, he began his career as a trainee draftsman in Sheffield and later worked in shops specializing in comic and film memorabilia, as well as computer games. He briefly worked for Gremlin Graphics before moving into video production, contributing to music videos for artists like Muse and Shaznay Lewis.
Staples is renowned for his work on the British comic *2000 AD*, particularly his collaborations with writers such as Garth Ennis and John Wagner on Judge Dredd. His bibliography includes numerous stories across various series within *2000 AD*. He has also illustrated characters like Batman and Spider-Man and contributed to video games, including work for Wizards of the Coast. Staples designed cards for the collectible card game Magic: The Gathering and its digital counterpart Hearthstone.
In addition, he created cover art for several Dungeons & Dragons books, including *Races of Faerûn* (2003) and *Fantastic Locations: Dragondown Grotto* (2006). His work spans a wide range of projects, showcasing his versatility as an artist.
