Harlene Bautista
Harlene Maclang Bautista (born August 6, 1973) is a Filipina actress, film producer, and businesswoman known for her work in films and television. She began her career as a child star in the early 1980s, appearing in movies such as *Oh, My Mama* (1981), *Ten Little Indians* (1981), and *Dear God* (1982). In 1983, she was nominated for the FAMAS Award for Best Child Actress for her role in *Broken Marriage*. She later became part of the That's Entertainment Thursday Group, a popular television variety show during her teenage years.
Bautista transitioned into adult roles and appeared in films like *Anak ng Demonyo* (1989), *Kunin Mo ang Ulo ni Ismael* (1990), and *Dito sa Pitong Gatang* (1992). She also starred in television series such as *May Bukas Pa* (1999-2001) and *Sa Dulo ng Walang Hanggan* (2001-2003).
In addition to acting, Bautista became a film producer, working on movies like *Umaaraw, Umuulan* (2006), directed by Joel Lamangan, and *Raketeros* (2013), directed by Randy Santiago.
Bautista was born into a family of artists; her father, Herminio "Butch" Bautista, was an actor and director, and her brothers Herbert and Hero are also actors. She married actor Romnick Sarmenta but announced their separation in October 2018.
