Ratangarh Bijnor

Ratangarh is a village in Bijnor district, Uttar Pradesh, India, historically known as Atreja. Founded in the early 19th century by Rao Zokha Singh Tyagi Atreja, it was part of the Bijnor Rebellion against British rule in 1857. The village transitioned from zamindari to a more equitable land distribution system post-independence due to land reforms and urban migration.
