Henrietta Catherine Knight, born on 15 December 1946, is an English Thoroughbred racehorse trainer renowned for her expertise in National Hunt racing. She achieved prominence by training Best Mate, who won three consecutive Cheltenham Gold Cups (2002, 2003, 2004) and the 2003 King George VI Chase. Additionally, she trained Edredon Bleu, winner of the 2000 Queen Mother Champion Chase and the 2003 King George VI Chase.

Knight, an Oxford graduate with a background in biology and history teaching, transitioned to horse training after excelling in eventing, including finishing 12th at the Badminton Horse Trials in 1973. She began professional training in 1989, following success on the amateur circuit from 1984 to 1989. Her notable horses include Calgary Bay, Somersby, and Racing Demon, each achieving significant wins.

Knight married former jockey Terry Biddlecombe in 1995; he passed away in 2014. She retired in 2012 with over 700 winners but returned to training in November 2023, reappearing at Wincanton on 12 January 2024.

Author of five books detailing her experiences, Knight's career is marked by numerous victories in major races. Her achievements highlight her lasting impact on the racing world.
