Living in a Dream is a live album by Texas blues rock band Arc Angels, released in 2009. The first disk features most of a historic show recorded on March 26, 2005, at Stubb's Bar-B-Q in Austin, Texas, where the band played their entire debut album, an unreleased song "Crave and Wonder," and a cover of Muddy Waters' "She's Alright." This performance marked Tommy Shannon's final show as the original bassist. The second disk includes three studio tracks—"Crave and Wonder" (penned by Charlie Sexton), "What I’m Looking For" (an R&B-influenced track by Doyle Bramhall II), and a bluesy rendition of Paul McCartney's 1971 song "Too Many People"—as well as the remainder of the 2005 show, including "Spanish Moon." The DVD accompanying the album features footage from the Stubb's show, directed by Kyle Ellison and produced by Mark Proct and Charlie Boswell. It also includes a documentary where band members reflect on their debut album and tour, plus a tribute to Clifford Antone, a influential figure in the Austin blues scene. Following Shannon's departure, the remaining members reunited to release Living in a Dream and embarked on a tour starting at South by Southwest Festival. Afterward, they pursued solo projects, with Sexton rejoining Bob Dylan’s band and Bramhall continuing his solo career and work with Eric Clapton. There have been no official talks of future releases or concerts since then.
