Timothy Ansah (1919–2008) was a Ghanaian educationist and politician who served as an MP for Tarkwa-Aboso from 1965 to 1966 under the Convention People's Party. Before his political career, he worked in education, teaching at institutions like Wesley College and Fijai Secondary School, where he became assistant headmaster in 1957. From 1960 to 1974, he was headmaster of Kwame Nkrumah Secondary School (now Nsein Senior High School). Born in Axim, Ansah educated at York Hall School, Wesley College, Achimota, and King's College Cambridge, where he earned a degree in History and a Diploma of Education. He also excelled as an athlete at Cambridge University. Outside education, Ansah composed Ghanaian patriotic songs and participated in the national anthem selection. His legacy is marked by the Timothy Ansah Memorial Foundation Scholarships and Nsein Senior High School's annual lectures in his honor. He authored "Kundum: festival of the Nzemas and Ahantas" in 1999.
