Pascal Yoadimnadji (April 8, 1950 – February 23, 2007) was a Chadian politician who served as Prime Minister of Chad from February 2005 until his death in 2007. Born in Béboto, Logone Oriental Region, he belonged to the Gor ethnic group and worked as a lawyer before entering politics. Yoadimnadji held various government positions, including head of the National Electoral Commission from 1995 to 1997, during which the 1996 presidential election took place. He served as Minister of Mines, Energy, and Oil starting in May 1997, later becoming Minister of Tourist Development in 1998 and Minister of Environment and Water in 1999. From 1999 to 2004, he was President of the Constitutional Council and subsequently became Minister of Agriculture on July 23, 2004. He led La Francophonie's observer mission for Djibouti's January 2003 parliamentary elections. Yoadimnadji was appointed Prime Minister by President Idriss Déby on February 3, 2005, following Moussa Faki's resignation. During his tenure, he announced the removal of Hissène Habré's accomplices from government positions and extended a state of emergency in eastern provinces due to ethnic clashes that killed around 400 people. He also called for military mobilization as the Darfur conflict affected Chad. Yoadimnadji suffered a heart attack on February 21, 2007, fell into a coma, and was flown to France, where he died from a brain hemorrhage on February 23.
