United Nations of Sound album

"United Nations of Sound" is the debut album by British alternative rock band RPA & The United Nations of Sound, led by Richard Ashcroft. Released on 19 July 2010 in the UK through Parlophone and later reissued in the US on 22 March 2011 under Razor & Tie as "Richard Ashcroft," the album received mixed reviews. Metacritic aggregated eight reviews to give it a score of 39, indicating generally unfavorable reception. However, some critics praised it, with Spin Magazine describing it as a "fruitful collaboration" and Nylon calling it a "commanding performance."

The album features tracks like "Are You Ready?" which was used in various media, including Volkswagen Jetta commercials, Fox Sports' Major League Baseball broadcasts, ESPN promos during the 2010 FIFA World Cup, and the closing credits of the film *The Adjustment Bureau*. Another track, "She Brings Me the Music," appeared in an episode of *Chuck*. Notably, "Are You Ready?" incorrectly credited Robin Gibb for a sample from Maurice Gibb's 1971 song "On Time."
