Stephanie Mavunga, born on February 24, 1995, is a professional basketball player representing both American and Polish籍, currently playing for Valencia Basket. She holds the distinction of being the first Zimbabwean-born player drafted into the WNBA when she was selected 14th overall by the Indiana Fever in the 2018 draft. Mavunga switched her international allegiance to Poland in 2022.

In college, Mavunga began her career at the University of North Carolina, where she excelled as a freshman, starting 34 games and averaging notable stats including 10.7 points, 8.2 rebounds, and 2.4 blocks per game. She was recognized with First Team All-ACC honors in her sophomore year. However, she chose to transfer to Ohio State, sitting out the 2015–16 season under NCAA transfer rules. During her junior season at Ohio State, she achieved a double-double average of 11.4 points and 10.8 rebounds per game, becoming the third player in school history to do so. Her senior year saw further success, earning her spots on the All-Big Ten and All-Big Ten Tournament teams.

Mavunga's WNBA career began with the Indiana Fever in 2018, where she played 25 games without starting any. She was traded to the Chicago Sky in August 2020 as part of a deal that sent Jantel Lavender and draft picks to Indiana.
