Deepak Devrani

Deepak Devrani, born on December 10, 1992, is an Indian professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Punjab in the Indian Super League. He began playing football at the age of 12 at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium under coach Nirmal Singh. He later joined D.D.A. Yamuna Nagar and moved to Chandigarh Football Academy in 2007, representing the national team from the under-16 level.

Devrani started his club career with East Bengal but saw limited opportunities. He then joined Pailan Arrows, making his debut on March 25, 2012. During the 2010-11 season, he played five matches, and in the next season, he missed 20 games due to a knee injury. He scored his first goal for Pailan against Mumbai in the 2012 Federation Cup and his first I-League goal against ONGC F.C. on December 1, 2012.

In July 2013, Devrani signed with Sporting Goa, debuting on October 24, 2013, and scoring in a 3-0 win. He later joined FC Pune City for the 2014 Indian Super League and Minerva Punjab for their I-League debut season. In September 2019, he moved to TRAU and then to Chennaiyin FC in August 2021 on a one-year deal.

Devrani has won two I-League titles with Minerva Punjab (2017-18) and Gokulam Kerala (2020-21). He was also named to the I-League Team of the Season for 2020-21.
