Pantuleia gens
The gens Pantuleia (sometimes spelled Patuleia) was an obscure plebeian family from ancient Rome. The first mentions of its members date back to the early years of the Roman Empire. While some Pantuleii held equestrian rank, few achieved high-ranking state offices.
The name "Pantuleius" likely has Oscan roots and may indicate Sabine or Samnite origins, supported by the surname Sabinus found in the family and inscriptions from Trebula Mutusca, a Sabine city. Inscriptions also appear in Latium.
Most known Pantuleii bore the praenomina Gaius, Lucius, or Marcus, though Aulus was occasionally used.

The gens is documented through Latin and Greek inscriptions, reflecting their presence across Italy and the Roman Empire.
