Running with the Wolves song

"Running with the Wolves" is a Scandipop and electropop song by Aurora, released as her fourth single on April 20, 2015. Co-written with Michelle Leonard and Nicolas Rebscher, and produced by Odd Martin Skålnes, Rebscher, and Magnus Skylstad, the track was inspired by Aurora's experience during a blood moon in 2014. The song explores themes of freedom, reconnecting with nature, and escaping modern distractions like technology.

A new version featuring medieval Irish instruments was released in 2020 as part of the Apple TV+ film *Wolfwalkers*. This rendition also appeared in its soundtrack and trailer. Additionally, the song served as the theme for Wolfblood series 4–5 and Wolfblood Secrets, while also being featured in an episode of *Teen Wolf* (2011) and *The Blacklist*. Aurora described the track as a celebration of animal instincts and freedom from societal constraints, urging humans to embrace natural impulses.

Directed by James Alexandrou, the music video premiered on Vevo on June 10, 2015. An acoustic version was released on July 7, 2015, directed by Kenny McCracken.
