Toyota Motor Manufacturing Czech Republic

Toyota Motor Manufacturing Czech Republic s.r.o. (TMMCZ), headquartered in Kolín, Czech Republic, is an automobile manufacturer originally established as Toyota Peugeot Citroën Automobile Czech s.r.o. (TPCA) in 2002 by Toyota Motor Corporation and PSA Group. This joint venture produced badge-engineered city cars: the Citroën C1, Peugeot 107, and Toyota Aygo, sharing most components with minor cosmetic differences under the B-Zero project. Production began in February 2005.

In November 2018, PSA and Toyota announced the end of their European joint venture. On January 1, 2021, Toyota acquired the remaining 50% stake, renaming it TMMCZ, making it Toyota Motor Europe's eighth plant. Current products include the Toyota Aygo X (since 2021) and Yaris (XP210), while former models were the Citroën C1, Peugeot 107, Peugeot 108, and Toyota Aygo.

In January 2010, a global recall affected these vehicles due to faulty accelerator pedals, specifically those with Aisin Ez-drive gearboxes. Sales in Europe cover the EU, UK, Switzerland, Norway, and Iceland. The information is supported by an archived article from WardsAuto.
