University of Michigan Health-West, formerly known as Metro Health, is a nonprofit health system based in West Michigan with 30 locations, including a 208-bed hospital in Wyoming. It provides primary and specialty care services such as cardiology, neurosciences, orthopedics, and emergency medicine. The hospital is the first in West Michigan to offer minimally invasive robotic surgery and features a level II trauma center.

Founded in the early 1940s, Metro Health expanded its facilities over the decades, eventually becoming part of University of Michigan Health. It was renamed as University of Michigan Health-West in September 2021. The organization is accredited by multiple bodies, including the Society of Chest Pain Centers, Healthcare Facilities Accreditation Program, and others. It has also received numerous awards for patient care, safety, and environmental leadership.

In addition to its clinical services, the health system is recognized for its commitment to innovation and excellence in healthcare delivery.
