    • Critical Path** is a post-apocalyptic interactive movie adventure video game developed by Mechadeus and published by Media Vision Technology. The game features real-time video, giving it a graphically superior appearance for its time, though it is essentially an interactive movie where most choices only progress or end the game.

The plot follows a group of survivors after a terrorist biological warfare attack that kills 90% of the world's population. Survivors face sickness and insanity, with military bases struggling to maintain order. The commander orders the sick to be transported to an abandoned village and anyone within 30 miles killed. Kat, a helicopter pilot, returns to find her base destroyed. She joins Nighthorse, Grier, and the player in a mission to reach a safe island,遭遇空中故障后被迫降落在一个工厂屋顶。Kat must navigate the factory, guided by the player through security cameras, as they uncover the facility's sinister operations, including drug manufacturing and torture.

The game was produced on a low budget of $450,000 (equivalent to $925,000 today). It used computer-generated imagery for some scenes and had a professional film crew, though many actors were from Media Vision or Mechadeus. The game sold 300,000 units but was criticized for being linear with limited interactivity, despite praise for its graphics and intense experience.

Media Vision's rights to the game were acquired by Virgin Interactive in 1994 after they purchased Media Vision's publishing group.
