Eyke is a village and civil parish in East Suffolk, situated near Woodbridge on the A1152 road. Known since Roman times, it has evolved from arable land to sheep grazing during medieval times and back to farming, with some industrial activities like brick making. Key landmarks include a primary school, a manor house with a pond and paddock, a pub, and All Saints Church, a Norman structure from the 12th century. The population was 362 in 2011, part of the Suffolk Coastal region's 124,298 people, holding 0.29%. The village has transitioned economically from agriculture to roles like managers and professionals. Housing is predominantly detached or semi-detached, with good public health noted. All Saints Church, simple yet interesting, reflects medieval architecture.
