Mosheh Oinounou (born May 21, 1982) is an American media executive known for his work at CBS Evening News. He was raised in Prairie View, Illinois, in a Jewish family and attended Stevenson High School. He earned a BA in Political Communication and an MA in Security Policy Studies from George Washington University, where he also served as editor-in-chief of the school newspaper and was active in Hillel International. Oinounou began his media career at Fox News Channel as a producer for *Fox News Sunday* and later worked on the 2008 McCain presidential campaign. He then joined Bloomberg TV as an international editor, covering major events like the Great Recession and the Fukushima nuclear disaster. In 2011, he moved to CBS News as a senior producer, helping launch *CBS This Morning*, for which he received a 2013 Emmy Award for Outstanding Investigative Journalism. He subsequently oversaw the launch of CBSN, CBS's digital streaming channel, and was promoted in January 2018 to executive producer of *CBS Evening News with Jeff Glor*. During his tenure, the broadcast earned multiple Emmy nominations and a Murrow Award. He left CBS News in May 2019 and founded Mo Digital, consulting on digital content strategy. Oinounou is also the founder and president of Mo News, a news service on Instagram that curates and explains headlines. In 2022, he launched the *Mo News Podcast* and the *Mo Newsletter*.
