Immortal Cities: Children of the Nile is a city-building game set in ancient Egypt, developed by Tilted Mill Entertainment. Released in November 2004 in the United States and February 2005 in Europe, it is part of the City Building series. Unlike other similar games, it does not use an abstract currency for construction; instead, citizens build structures themselves based on their professions. Private and government workers are central to gameplay, with bread serving as the primary resource, derived from grain grown by peasant-class farmers. Nobles play a crucial role in generating wealth, as their estates fund the economy.

The game's legacy includes an Enhanced Edition released in 2008, which added new features and was later expanded with "Alexandria." A browser-based version, Nile Online, launched in March 2009, focusing on trading and player-versus-player dynamics. It emphasized accessibility and retained core city-building elements, attracting around 5,000 players shortly after its release.
