Murshidabad Medical College and Hospital, established in 2012, is a government-run medical institution located in Berhampore, Murshidabad district, West Bengal, India. The college primarily serves the residents of Murshidabad, Birbhum, and northern Nadia districts by providing essential healthcare services, including preventive, diagnostic, and curative care. Affiliated with the West Bengal University of Health Sciences and recognized by the National Medical Commission, it admits students through the NEET examination. Since 2020, the college has offered postgraduate (PG) courses with 24 seats approved.

The college operates two campuses in Berhampore. The main campus spans 32 acres, featuring academic buildings, hospitals, OPD centers, a mother and child hub, hostels, and research facilities like the Viral Research and Diagnostic Laboratory (VRDL). A second campus houses the nursing school and Matri Sadan hospital, converted into a 300-bed COVID hospital. The college offers various programs, including MBBS, MD, MS, GNM Nursing, BSc Nursing, and paramedical courses.

Departments such as Anaesthesiology, Anatomy, Biochemistry, and others cater to diverse medical fields, while the college's infrastructure includes auditoriums, laboratories, and healthcare centers. Former principals include Prof. (Dr.) Pradip Kumar Saha, Prof. (Dr.) Ajay Kumar Ray, Prof. (Dr.) Manju Banerjee, and Prof. (Dr.) Sarmila Mallick.

Campus life is vibrant, with festivals like Avseende, Au Revoir, Saraswati Puja, Bienvenue, and Chronaxie, alongside sports meets and cultural events. The college also celebrates its Foundation Day annually on August 1st, reflecting a dynamic academic environment focused on education and community healthcare.
