National Division 2 is the fourth tier of rugby league in France, situated below National Division 1. The season spans from September to April and features five regional leagues: East, South 1, South 2, South-East, and West. Teams compete in home-and-away fixtures within their regions, with top performers advancing to playoffs to determine champions eligible for promotion to Division 1.

Originally known as the Federal Division, it was renamed National Division 2 in 2008. The Coupe Falcou serves as its domestic cup, previously named the French Federal Cup. In 2023, a restructuring merged the Federal and National divisions, creating groups for the 2023-24 season: National Divisions 1&2 and 3&4. Division 4 teams could play nine-a-side matches. The format shifted in 2024-25 to National Division 2/3 after club withdrawals.

The 2024-25 season includes 25 teams, such as Tonneins XIII 2 and Montpellier XIII. Related topics include the French rugby league system, Coupe Falcou, and other competitions like the Lord Derby Cup. This summary encapsulates the structure, history, and current state of National Division 2 in France's rugby league hierarchy.
