Dish México operates a subscription satellite television service in Mexico, wholly owned by MVS Comunicaciones since 2022. Prior to this, it was jointly owned by MVS (51%) and Dish Network (49%). Established on December 1, 2008, through an agreement between Dish Network Corporation and MVS, the service expanded its offerings over time. In January 2011, six HD channels were added: TNT, Space, Fox Sports en Español, History Channel, Universal Channel, and Sony Entertainment Television. Three more channels—Fox, Nat Geo, and Nat Geo Wild—followed in April 2011.

Initially, Dish México faced challenges broadcasting Televisa and TV Azteca network locals due to a payment dispute. To bypass this, they distributed HD receivers with terrestrial antenna inputs, allowing subscribers to access local stations freely. Following Mexico’s telecommunications reform in June 2013, requiring satellite providers to carry channels covering over 50% of the national territory, Dish México began airing Televisa and TV Azteca channels. These included Las Estrellas, Canal 5, Gala TV from Televisa, and Azteca 7 and Azteca Trece from TV Azteca, with official broadcasts starting on September 11, 2013. All programming is in Spanish, either dubbed, subtitled, or originally produced.
