Wonder Girl

The alias has also been used in reference to a younger Wonder Woman. Donna Troy was created by Bob Haney and Bruno Premiani in 1965. The second Wonder Girl, Cassie Sandsmark, was created in Wonder Woman (vol. 2) #105 (January 1996). Both are protégées of Wonder Woman and members of different incarnations of the Teen Titans. The character's origin is that of Diana Prince of the Amazons. An original version of Wonder Girl named Drusilla appeared in the Wonder Woman television series, played by Debra Winger. This article has been amended to remove the word "child" from severalusions of Wonderwoman. Use this information to help students understand the history and mythology of the Wonder Girl character.
