Trevon Duval
Trevon Duval, born in 1998, is a professional basketball player currently signed to Sabah BC of the Azerbaijan Basketball League. He began his basketball journey at St. Benedict's High School before moving to Advanced Preparatory International in Dallas and IMG Academy in Florida as a senior. Recognized as a top recruit, Duval committed to Duke University, where he played 37 games during his freshman season in 2018, averaging 10.9 points, 5.6 assists, and earning ACC honors.
After Duke's loss in the 2018 NCAA Tournament, Duval decided to enter the NBA draft but went undrafted in 2018. He signed with the Houston Rockets for the Summer League and later joined the Milwaukee Bucks on a two-way contract. His NBA debut came in February 2019, but he only played three games before being waived.
Duval then moved to the Rio Grande Valley Vipers in the G League, where he primarily played. In 2020, he was selected by the Iowa Wolves in the G League draft and later signed with the Hamilton Honey Badgers in Canada. He joined the Grand Rapids Gold in 2021 but was waived and reacquired before being traded to Sabah BC.
Duval has also represented the USA Men's Junior National Team in various minicamps. His professional career reflects a journey through multiple leagues, including the NBA G League, Canadian Elite Basketball League, Turkish Basketbol Süper Ligi, and currently the Azerbaijan Basketball League.
