George Hedley Swindin (1914–2005) was an English football player and manager who played as a goalkeeper for Bradford City and Arsenal in the Football League, making over 300 appearances during his 18-year career. His playing career began with Rotherham United before turning professional at Bradford City in 1934. He joined Arsenal in 1936, where he became the club's first-choice goalkeeper after the Second World War, winning three Football League titles and appearing in two FA Cup Finals. Swindin also played wartime football while serving as a Physical Training Instructor in the Army.

After retiring as a player, Swindin transitioned to management, leading Peterborough United to three Midland League titles from 1955–56 to 1957–58. He later managed Arsenal (1958–1962), Norwich City, and Cardiff City, but his tenure at Cardiff ended after relegation in 1964. Swindin also managed Kettering Town and Corby Town before leaving football.

In his later years, Swindin emigrated to Spain but eventually returned to England. He suffered from Alzheimer's disease and died in Kettering in 2005 at age 90. As a player, he won three Football League titles with Arsenal and was named to the Peterborough United Hall of Fame in 2013 for his managerial achievements.
