J. P. Chenet is a French wine brand produced by Les Grands Chais de France since 1984, known for its distinctive curved bottleneck bottles. It claims to be the most sold French wine worldwide, distributed in over 160 countries.

The brand was conceived in 1984 with the design of the "Josephine" bottle, named after a historical figure. The first J. P. Chenet bottles were released in 1984. In 1987, the range expanded to include a sweeter white wine, Vin de Pays des Côtes de Thau, and a rosé, Cinsault Vin de Pays d’Oc. By 1992, sales reached 400,000 cases of 9 liters. In 1994, the brand introduced 25cl wines, followed by barrel-aged Merlot-Cabernet and Chardonnay wines starting in 1996.

In 2000, a 3-liter bag-in-box was launched. By 2004, 7.4 million boxes of 9 liters were sold, and sparkling wines in 750ml and 200ml sizes were introduced. The packaging for 750ml and 250ml bottles was updated in 2005, with the Joséphine bottle featuring the brand’s logo across all wine ranges. The Classic range was revamped in 2008.

In 2009, Les Grands Chais de France launched a flavored wine called Fashion. In 2011, they introduced 18.7cl polyethylene terephthalate containers and a Terroir range offering AOP grape varieties. Limited-edition Cabernet-Syrah and Merlot wines were released in 2012, followed by J. P. Chenet Ice, a sparkling wine, in 2014.

J. P. Chenet has received notable recognition, including the Packaging Oscar and the Verre Avenir award in 1991.
