Lamar was a village in Chase County, Nebraska, with a population of 23 at the 2010 census. Established in 1887 when the Chicago, Burlington and Quincy Railroad arrived, it was named after Lucius Quintus Cincinnatus Lamar II, a Confederate soldier and U.S. Secretary of the Interior. A post office operated there from 1887 until its closure in 1995.

The village had a total area of 0.07 square miles (0.18 km²), all land. In the 2010 census, Lamar's population was 23, comprising 11 households and 4 families, with a median age of 54.5 years and a density of 328.6 inhabitants per square mile (126.9/km²). The racial makeup was entirely White (100%). Households varied: 18.2% had children under 18, 36.4% were married couples, and 63.6% were non-families. In 2000, the population was 19, with a similar household structure but a younger median age of 50 years. Hispanic or Latino individuals made up 10.5% of the population.

On November 5, 2024, Lamar voted to unincorporate. The village's economy was modest, with a 2000 median household income of $23,750 and a per capita income of $14,463.
