Malik Harris

Malik Justin Harris, born on 27 August 1997 in Landsberg am Lech, is a German-American singer, songwriter, and rapper. His father, Ricky Harris, is an American television presenter and actor based in Germany. Harris began his music career at age 13 by creating guitar covers of songs.

Harris gained significant attention as the first German-American artist to appear on a Times Square billboard in New York City for a week in 2020. He represented Germany in the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 with the song "Rockstars," winning the national selection but finishing last at the contest with only 6 points, the second-worst result for Germany. Despite this, "Rockstars" was certified Gold in Germany in 2023.

Harris has released several albums and EPs, including "Anonymous Colonist" (2021) and "Like That Again" (2019), along with numerous singles spanning from 2018 to 2025. He has also contributed to various collaborations, such as featuring in tracks by other artists. His career highlights include early musical exploration, a milestone billboard achievement, and participation in Eurovision, reflecting his growing influence in the music industry.
