Quinton Carter, born on July 20, 1988, in Las Vegas, Nevada, is a former professional football player who played as a safety in the NFL. He attended Cheyenne High School, where he excelled as a top football and basketball player, earning all-league honors and being named to the Las Vegas Sun's all-decade high school football team.

Carter played college football at the University of Oklahoma from 2006 to 2010 under coach Bob Stoops. He initially saw limited action but developed into a key player, earning All-American honors in 2010. His standout 2009 season included 88 tackles and four interceptions, leading him to the 2010 Jim Thorpe Watch List and the All-Big 12 team.

Selected by the Denver Broncos in the fourth round of the 2011 NFL Draft, Carter became a starting safety. He made notable plays in his rookie season, including interceptions against Ben Roethlisberger and Tom Brady. However, his career was cut short when he was placed on injured reserve in September 2012.

Off the field, Carter is known for his charity work through SOUL (Serving Others through Unity and Leadership), which provides football camps and support to children in need. He was also recognized by the Allstate AFCA Good Works team in 2010. In 2017, he opened Big Jerk, a Caribbean restaurant in Las Vegas, initially as a food truck before expanding into multiple locations.

Carter faced legal issues in 2013 when arrested for fraudulent acts at a gaming establishment, but the charges were eventually dropped.
