Right Round Here

Dean Brody's eighth studio album, *Right Round Here*, was released on September 15, 2023, via Starseed Records. Produced by Todd Clark and Gavin Slate, the album features four singles: "Where'd You Learn How to Do That," "You Got the Wrong Guy," "Broke," and the title track. Brody described the album as an ode to Canada, reflecting his personal connection through his upbringing in various provinces. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic's impact on his songwriting routine, he only wrote two songs for this album: "Intro (Northern Anthem)" and "Trouble." His friends Stuart Walker and Jenna Walker of The Reklaws co-wrote three tracks, including the title track, which resonated deeply with Brody.

The album was announced in May 2023 alongside the *Right Round Here Tour* and the promotional single "Paint the Town Redneck." On the day of its release, Brody performed "Intro (Northern Anthem)" and "Right Round Here" at the 2023 Canadian Country Music Awards in Hamilton, Ontario. The performance was broadcast on CTV and uploaded to YouTube.

Critically, Logan Miller of *Front Porch Music* praised the album for its vivid portrayal of Canadian life and culture, highlighting Brody’s versatility and storytelling skills.
